Anhui Fuyang energy storage project connected to grid

Lately, the Phase 1 of Anhui Fuyang Wind and Solar Storage Base Project Energy Storage System project, which is China's largest renewable energy electrochemical energy storage power station – has achieved full-capacity grid connection.

The project combines 550MW wind farm, 650MW PV power station and energy storage system (ESS) to smooth power grid volatility and enhance power supply reliability. Storing up to 600MWh of electricity, the ESS can meet the annual electricity demands of more than 90,000 households.

The project features HyperStrong's 1500V liquid-cooling ESS, which offers a reduced footprint, enhanced charging & discharging efficiency, and extended battery cycle life. Additionally, HyperStrong developed a customized cabin-level fire protection system that combines perfluorohexane spray, pack-level combustible gas detection, and pack-level water spray to ensure the safety of the energy storage station.

HyperStrong was highly recognized by the developers and EPCs for its products, high-quality services, and highly qualified personnel, all of which ensured the project’s successful delivery and grid connection.
